Munnar notification getting Delayed

Kannan Devan Hills alias Munnar is forest land in the hands of Revenue dept. But due to the delay in notification of 17900 acre, as forest, so many encroachments occured there.

This document shows that the file regarding the notification reached the Office of the Forest minister on 01-08-2009, after signed by the Chief minister. But, unnecessary delay in notification even after fulfilling all procedures is for helping the encroachers.. 5 months delay gave time to build so many illegal constructions in Munnar. We should see that CPI, who opposed Munnar operations is handling the Forest department and revenue dept.

Church bells against Global warming

Here is a news piece. christian churches in Kottayam district have decided to sound the bells, as a protest against Global warming. Even though we may feel it as a good, sensitive decision, it is not so. What changes it makes, if they bells? Will it help in anyway to reduce global warming? Instead of this, they could have reduce the unwanted lighting in church, ask devotees to reduce electricity consumption, usage of air conditioners etc.
Without changing the lifestyle, NO JESUS WILL HELP US from the GLOBAL WARMING.
